Hey guys new to the forum, just a quick question to see if anybody has had same issue, my r33 gtst rb25det glugs fuel, from a full tank im getting only 200-250k's out of a tank. Im a laid back driver, ive never got a speeding fine to describe my driving style... yes...never...
i currently have Adaptronic ecu, and blitz bov. exhaust is 3 inch from the cat, don't ask why it wasn't done properly and previous owner was a bell end. Car has been tuned at hyperdrive in malaga
So anybody else have the same problem? or anyone that has had the problem and fixed it, spark plugs are new.
cheershttp

You mean your fuel economy sucks?
Check things like O2 sensor.
Does the car overfuel? Does it blow black smoke? Is there black "dirt" on the back bumper near exhaust?
Or randomly, does the car leak fuel on the ground?

factory bov will solve your issues
Tune issue. Take it back to Hyperdrive and ask him to fix it. He is probably the only person that will touch Adaptronic.

sounds like fuelling is not running in closed loop
Catback only exhaust makes you a bell-end? Interesting choice of second post.
You bought a performance car that weights give or take 150-170 tonnes. Higher weight (load) = higher revs required to make it go fast.

It seems you may actually want an Excel not a R33. Common mistake.

you're not that stupid are you paul?
my 330rwhp 33 (which was 1.35 tonne on my paperwork) often got 400+km to a tank (15L/100km), and the 390rwhp cammed V8 commodore (which weighed about 1.7 tonne) got about 11L/100km...

I'd be checking 02 sensor, people seem to Never change them.
Tune can't be THAT bad with near on stock running gear.
Highly doubt the ECU in this car will be using closed loop o2. So dont buy a sensor, as it will be a waste of cash.
you may have a bad case of Boongs!
