So while I was avoiding doing work in the office today we were having a discussion on what inventions which now seem obvious make your every day life easy...

he first one that springs to is the single 'swing' tap.

Why anyone uses dual taps is beyond me. pingpingpingping to make a good temperature and always turn one off quicker than the other and scold/freeze yourself getting out the shower.

Also while on bathrooms... another pet hate.

Nothing wrong with dual taps, as long as the water mixes and flows out of the same outlet. Beats me why someone would install seperate outlets for hot and cold though...
