Clutch fork solid??

Got this RB20 gearbox with a motor I bought a while back. Didn't come with clutch fork, thrust bearing shifter ect.. So I got them off a wrecker. Box goes on to the motor fine (engine out of the car ATM) but the clutch fork where the slave cylinder pushes on is completely solid and from memory it should have some movement.
Have I been given the wrong parts or is there another reason?? Please help thanks
