Old clutch vs new: your thoughts?

Hey guys, I'm half way through changing the clutch in my LS1 powered VN. I've got a couple of photos of my old clutch (stock VX SS) and my new NPC clutch side by side. Not knowing a great deal about clutches, I thought I'd post the photos up and see what people's comments were.

also here's a couple of photos of the old slave cylinder as well .. I get the feeling this was starting to leak internally even though it's only a few thousand km old - is all this gunk inside it normal?
