I need some help on turbo's.

Have been reading alot to do with the GTX range turbos Mainly 3582 and 3076 for my un-opened rb25. Some people love them some people say there not much different.
What i want is a nice, as-large-as-possible powerband, whilst not running rediculus boost.
I did have a kando t67 10cm on the rb before hand but antilag has taken its toll on the turbo after not many k's at all. I liked the way that turbo responded and was running around 460 hp (23 psi) with that setup, but am looking for somthing that will last. (no offence to the kando supporters)

Questions!
Will the GTX3076r .82 do 480hp~ on bp98 on resonable boost?
Have read a fair bit saying they liven up on upper boost ranges but have not seen enough dyno charts to make a decision.

Have seen the other thread about the Precision turbos vs Garret turbos and had seen the video of ''marks r33 powerskid''. This makes the power i want but i cannot find any other info on it, engine setup/boost/dyno chart etc.
If anyone has any info on this then it would be much appreciated.

Cheers fellas

A friend just got a fresh tune on a 25 with a GTX3076, pump 98, 17psi, baby poncams and made 465 hp.

I run nearly the same but a regular GT3076 and on E42.5 at 16 psi, same poncams and also make 465 hp. So theres a good comparison between the two. I imagine if I had a GTX I could make 480 easily on 16psi which is unreal! If I were you id go the GTX straight away, 20psi pump fuel and drop 4th.

thats an awesome result mitcho! I have also heard that the gtx garrets come alive (more so) with 20+ psi, so i would be interesting to see the results.
Do you have the graph of the 25 running 98 mitcho?

Any incar vids avaliable?

cheers for the replys!!

The gtx 3076r is also of a very similar size to the billet turbo I run on the 2jz. It made 450whp on C-red dyno and 500whp on a hub dyno at about 21.5psi with an stock 2jz. As others have said they love boost so yes either water/meth injection or E85 and you can really boost them.

Mine is booked in for a retune on Monday, will try for 28psi with water meth injection and bigger cams.

Gtx35 ftw! Pretty sure Marks mods are just bolt ons like plenum, mani, injectors etc. On a uncracked import motor and pushes 500hp @ ~20psi
