In this day and age, what did they think would happen?! If it was just one of them who put it up without the other two guy's knowledge, you would have to think there would be at least some words said. I'd be pretty pissed if a mate posted up shit showing me doing stupid things on a public platform like failbook.

thats why my facebook profile is locked down.

in all honesty though. there is SFA for people to do in port hedland, karratha etc. there is no drag strip, no race parks to cut sick on.

what the fuck do people mroe to the point government expect is going to happen, when you have young people making bulk cash and with no investment in motorsport in these area's.

They have speedway, go karts & dirtbikes. Plenty of mudflats & access roads to play on ......

There is also a speedway/burnout pad in karratha. Cost is negligible to use it and for what everyone earns up there... Well there isn't much excuse for not using it. Full go-kart track that was recently prepped to aus standards... Yeah nothing to do up there.

Yep, no excuse. Even Newman has it's own go kart track and motorcross and enduro's are pretty popular. At the end of the day though, if young punks do want to go and lay strips in the bitumen, there is enough space for them to go do it without endangering others, but to film it and post it up is plain stupid.

I've got nothing against a skid, given the right time and place and by the look of that video its in the middle of bumfuck so who cares, or even abit of a drag race, but its the 250k runs that are stupid. Maybe its just me but i don't see the thrill in it, we all know the car can do it, but one small mistake, a pothole, an animal and its lights out kill all your mates thanks for coming.

Commodore is pretty slow up top to be honest.

Jail time for a skid?

Society is fucked.

Jail time for a skid, Vmax run is bullshit. You get less for bashing someone. It's clear to see what the priorities are.

I'm well aware that there is moto-x & go-kart tracks up in the pilbara as i used to race in both. Up until 2005 they atleast had the yearly newman drags, but the government put a stop to that because of bullshit security concerns.

When i lived in Tom Price, there was a marked 400m out on one of the highways. sure it wasnt legal but it still provided for a bit of fun every now and then. Gtech come in handy too.
