So i smashed my rear uni and the car has been hard parked in the garage for a while now, over 3 months, possibly up to 4...

My oil pump is not external, so i cant run it before I start it. i can run the fuel pumps for a bit to prime everything up, fill the surge tank etc.

would it be ok to just start it? its messy as fuck and the microtech is shit at starting it, especially in cold weather...

Its got a large cam, massive intake manifold, biggish injectors and a love of stalling.

remove the ignitor so it spins but doesnt fire - should work some oil through the system.

will want to pull fuel pump fuse too so its not spraying fuel in and flood the motor (wont help with priming fuel system tho)

Rip out the plugs and crank it over on the starter for two 20 second bursts instead. Should be enough to get the oil pressure up.

This way there isnt any compression fighting your starter motor.

Will probably run just fine without doing anything special and just kicking it in the guts but this wont hurt.
