G’day,
Looking at getting the Plasmaman forward facing plenum for my R32 with RB25,
Can anyone confirm there will not be a fitment issue if I purchase the plenum for the R33 i.e. too wide, too long, any issues fitting in the engine bay of the R32???
I asked plasmaman direct but they fell silent and didn’t return a phone call ??? Maybe because it was a stupid question? I don’t know. but i would rather ask a stupid question before shelling out $1,200
Cheers,

Why would you get one over a Greddy one?

I have read through SAU reviews and plasma man provided more mid-range whereas Greddy was more top end power.

Hahaha yeah right, my car in its entirety is cheaper than his engine, and I still beat him.
He should be picking up my car from ASG right now.

As Lonewolf said, I am puting one on my R32 with RB25Neo engine, I haven't actually finished it due to being lazy, :p
But there is 3 things I will mention that were/are issues with the R34 plenum (R33 may be different)
Firstly, the R32 clutch master cylinder is too long an needs to be replaced with an R33 clutch master, easy fix.
Secondly the idle control valve sits very close to the strut tower, and requireds modification of one of the nipples, (once again fairly easy fix).
Thirdly they sit quite high and therefore get very close to the bonnet at the front near the throttle body.
I think I still have your number so can send you a few pics if you like to explain better.

Thanks Champ, yeah if you could please send them through it would be much appreciated.
Simon - did you have the same fitment issues with the Greddy?

Only clutch master needing to be a R33 item...
and you need a longer throttle cable (S14)
PS. Your turbo will make decent mid range but lack top end :)

I have a mate who transplanted R33 running gear into his 180, we used a Plazmaman plenum on that, used r33 clutch maso and did not really have clearance or fitment issues... It is a good looking bit of gear too.
