Rear window is smashed on my 92 Corrolla Hatchback and I need someone to remove the old seals and install a spare hatch window.

I would do it myself, but I really don't want to break it.

I called O'Briens to get a general idea, they said $330.00, so I said no way. Anything marginally cheaper than that would be good.

I live SOR, Munster, so whoever is in the area is appreciated.

Thanks.

Just thinking out loud, could you unbolt the whole back hatch and then just go at it with a pair of gloves and a Stanley knife? Then refit new window, bolt it back in and job done?

Sikaflex and a few bits of masking tape is all you'd need I guess.?
Bring a mate around to help you carry and line the glass up, so you're not fumbling with shit.

That's what I was thinking of doing. If what was quoted earlier is the cheapest option, then I'll just go with your idea. Reason I have a spare one is the spare hatch is rusted so it was replaced, otherwise I would just put the whole spare hatch on.

Thanks.

Wow, either I heard him wrong or he misquoted me.

I'll give Austral Windscreens a call, thanks.

All sorted. I was given contacts on SilWA for Paul at Perth Windscreens. $132.00 all in. Thanks for any and all help.

was that with you supplying window or them?

regardless it's a decent price ... saves you from having to deal with any glass shards and stuff

That's using my window. I already cut myself this morning trying to get in again. Drivers door handle is fucked :p
