Hey Guys ,
Anyone got hook ups on high pressure washers ? something like karcher or gerni , roughly 1500-2000 psi , mine has finally hit its watery grave and now makes about 2 psi , everywhere charges like a wounded bull for karcher etc , and its really not worth buying no name water blasters as they last about 2 mins , only need something for washing dirt bikes/trucks/home duties , also open for suggestions on other washers if you have had good experience with them, cheers people

Steve (AutoPro) has some decent ones not sure on the name of his brand, I'm happy with my ~$250 Karcher myself.
There was a thread on pressure cleaners not so long ago, but it seems to of been deleted.

Go to Bunnings
I bought a ~$150 Karcher
Washes mud off my 4WD
Cleans brick pavers to as new condition
Blasts moss of roof
Ran it the other day for almost 2hrs non stop
Don't need fancy schmancy $$$$ to do what you want

We have a $250 karcher and a $1800 karcher at home.
The more expensive one isn't worth it for basic home duties. The cheap karchers are tough. The cheapy we have is only meant to be used 30 mins on, 10 mins off. I used it for 8 hours cleaning a roof once, with one 10 minute break and its still going strong.
Really the only upside I can see with an expensive one is if you're constantly doing things like rooves. I did another roof (about the same size as the first) with the expensive one, and finished in about 5-6 hours.

If it's only for dirtbikes & 4x4's etc, small $150 jobbie is plenty as already stated. If you want to wash patios down & clean roofs etc etc, get something with more grunt & a wider spray pattern.
