Just did a search one. Couldn't find one on there :(

Just messaged the guy on p-wrx, apparently it's sold pending payment. Cheers anyway

iPhone Simon. Do you know if the app works as good on an iPhone?

there is a few, Diablo Superbiker is a bike specific one but is one of the best free ones available, Dynolicious(sp) is supposed to be another good one, and people who have put the app against actual 1/4 mile runs and the app comes up very close.
Another one is Trackday, have it on my phone but never used it. Seems to have a fair bit of info on it.

I use Harry's lap timer pro on my iPhone 4 in a tomtom cradle (for the faster external gps)
Works well at barbagallo. http://www.gps-laptimer.de/Home.html

I like the idea of the external gps on the phone. Is this what you have:

Where did you get it from and how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking?

That's the one. Bought it directly from Apple but it looks like it has been discontinued.
You may be able to grab one second hand. I have $99 in my head for some reason.
It is still a relatively slow gps @ 1hz, but compatible with the harry's app quick reception and the bonus of a phone charger and hands free kit.

I've found it very close to the official timing at barbagallo, so useful for development on tuning days.

Have ordered a tomtom gps thing for my iPhone off eBay. Have also downloaded Henry's lap timer app. All up it cost me $110 so I'm pretty happy with that. Hopefully it can give me some fairly accurate lap times but if not at least I got an iPhone windscreen suction cup and an in car charger out of it lol.
Thanks for the help.

If you have an iphone4, you'll need a little pad on the tomtom cradle's button to make sure it turns on when you slot a (slimmer than a 3) iPhone 4 in. You'll see what I mean when it arrives. I used a little black square (the soft part) of some stick on Velcro and it works as it should.

I have found even a 1hz on a phone sitting it the centre console of the car is reasonably accurate... Like within 1 tenth per lap time at Barbs.

When I get around to it I'm going to grab a 5hz external bluetooth one and I imagine that will be more than enough for our needs (not full race car spec)

For under $100 you can't really go wrong
