So who are the latest antilag Shannons employees?
Or am I just going to get a barrage of "PM Bouz"s?
Is bouz actually a Shannons employee?

pm him & find out
Put "insurance" in the subject, that way you'll have a 100% chance of getting ignored.
13 46 46 is your best bet.

Ok just got a quick Shannons related question.
I rang up 13 46 46 today to get a quote to insure 3 of my cars. Asked for the Perth branch (so I could hopefully speak to an AL member) but was told you guys were very busy so I just stuck with the guy from QLD, and he was extremely helpful.
My only concern is the agreed values that he came up with for my car. I listed all my mods, and he almost doubled the starting 'market value' figure for my car which is great because the starting value was extremely low, but I'm not totally happy with it. I definitely do not expect the agreed value to equal what I have spent on the car, but I'd like to think it is in better condition and worth a bit more than your average XR6T with low kms.
He did say I can drive my car to the Burswood office and that might help, but I'm assuming you guys aren't there on weekends, and if that's the case due to working commitments I can't do it during the week.
Can photos be emailed to anyone at Shannons maybe?
Thanks for any advice you guys can offer, otherwise I'll call back tomorrow and speak to someone locally hopefully.
Cheers.
And no PM BOUZ replies please :D

Personally I PM'd Bouz after 5pm last month. He got back to me and followed up with an email. Received a phone call the next day from another Shannon's employee and AL member. The lady was awesome, sorted me out. I got everything I wanted / asked for, and had no issues. Overall very happy with the service, agreed value and prices.
tl;dr PM Bouz ....

Everytime I updated my policy I sent through photos to show progress etc - this was when it was getting build and under lay up cover.
Got the exact agreed value I was after each time, mods listed and I'm assuming photos kept on file by Shannons.
Not sure if he is still the antilag go to man, but have always sent enquiries to Matt Deluca (sp? BOUZ?) And have aways had prompt replies and return phone calls. However emailed a few weeks ago about updating policy to full road cover and never got a reply, so not sure if he's still there? No dramas anyway, just called up and got it sorted :)

Ive just gone through this yesterday. The sum insured amount for the Calais has increased from $15k to $30k with Shannons. Its only an extra $50-$60 per year.
When I got my renewal letter a few months back the sum insured amount had dropped from $18k to $15k and I queried it. I was told i could not increase the sum insured amount and they had a Holden 'specialist' review the policy.
I sent an email yesterday asking to have it increased and I received a prompt reply requesting to either bring to car to their Burswood center or attach photos and a modification list. After i sent photos and modification list I was called and the person said they didn’t have any of this information on file and they were happy to increase it. I sent a similar email with photos when i first changed to Shannon so it was a little concerning that they didn't have that information.
On my yearly Shannons letters is included vague comments like ‘engine conversion, supercharged, lowered, wheels, stereo’ which i thought was covering everything i had listed with them but obviously not.
I must say the person i dealt with was excellent. I dont know where she was from but if you are a member on here thanks for your help.

I called Shannons yesterday and was offered a pretty comical 'agreed' value. I emailed a bunch of pics of the build/finished product and they doubled the agreed value, to the amount I was after.

I took my XR6t to burswood rd about two years ago, the guy looked at the car, saw all the mods, said it was in extremely good condition, actually the first word he said was wow... the agreed value was still to be the at time market value, which was stuff all (25 or so grand) which would not have bought a replacement, not even close...
Maybe they have loosened up a bit

Yeah my agreed value with them isn't anywhere close to the additional parts without the car, let alone the whole package. Might have to give them a call.

Spoke with Shannon last week. Was a 10min call at most and got agreed on both the Mazdas and the value I wanted for both. Way to easy.

Also spoke to Shannons a couple of weeks ago regarding an agreed value on the car I'm rebuilding. Because it is currently apart and off the road they substantially lowered my payments till it's up and running again. Very happy with the customer service as it wasn't the reason I called and they were happy to help.
