Who's excited?

Decent stream here (official, on the website, just for those who are too lazy): http://live.lemans-tv.com/

No frogs this year to contest Audi... surely they will dominate. Toyo is in but unlikely to win.
Deltawing should be great to watch... giant black dick rolling around the track.

Its a bit wet atm.

I'll be stuck at work for most of it 2moro, but i'll be checking here for updates, hopefully mcnish can get it this time, or atleast make it a few hours in :D

deltawing seems to be running right in the tail of the lmp2 class, not fucking bad! Will have to see how it falls out with pit stops to guage how it compares, its supposed to need less due to less fuel due to weight and engine size... we'll see.

i know it was so much work and engineering etc gone into that, but it was kind of pretty decent odds that this would happen, would have been better if they had two or more (are they even allowed two prototypes?)

this was never going to be the end though, probably hit the circuit and then return next year. hopefully they learned enough in their time there to drive the development on.

Couple of questions from someone not following the race ..

Assume they cant get car towed back to pits fix and return to race ?

Was the crash I seen on the news report this morning from this year ?

probably not, you probably saw Davidson's toyota doing cartwheels after clipping the ferrari, its a few posts up

#1 Etron just missed smashing into a parked GTE car, was spun and parked just after the apex, looked like it was onto the start of mulsanne. Had to drive through the gravel, less than a foot away from tapping the wall at the end of the trap, close one!

Hard to tell, im watching it in french lol.

but anyway, #2 car is only 1min behind now
