Anyone that races the Isle of man TT must have balls the size of grapefruit. In allot of the sections if you messup a corner your heading strait for a wire fence or a brick wall...

racing needs more people like Guy Martin always such a laugh to watch and listen to him during interviews. He's lucky tho people who tend to have a fuck the media i'm here to race and not play games attitude never get far in professional racing.

How the fuck do you survive a crash like that WTF!

Safety gear, I'd say he was wearing an air suit. The stone wall he hits also gives way so while he would of been hammered by it the fact it did give may of worked in his favour. Sated the fuck outta them sheep! Lol

Guy Martin also had a huge stack that year massive fireball crash. Now him and Connar Cummins are on the same team.

Guy Martin is a one of a kind personality, on track he is fantastic, off track he is the funniest pingpingpingping around if you can understand what he is saying.

He is also my hero.

how noticeable are those air suits when they deploy? I never saw anything deploy when they crashed. think its really just good helmets and dumb luck lol

Their heads where fine but pretty much every other part gets anihalated!!! or as Guy Martin described that dude in hospital "not looking at all clever" hahahahaha

They are not like balloons, but make small pillows of air in various parts of the suit.

Just luck I think for Connor. Only here for practice week and 7 people already dead... All tourists bringing their bikes and attempting the track during public times. One guy overtook on a blind corner, finds a dump truck round the corner and takes out a bike coming the opposite way. Both dead....

Very much doubt that Cummins was wearing an air suit. Most of the road racer guys are self funded, and the sponsership isn't much. Those air suits cost a fortune as they have to be perfectly size matched to have a real effect.

And having spent years watching the TT whilst my dad raced for Honda Ireland on a RC30, those walls he hit would be similar to a concrete wall. Huge chunks of shale stacked ontop of each other. He is just the luckiest guy to have gotten away with only the injurys he did!

My dad crashed at the end of the mountain section, F'd himself up real good, but he'd do it again if he had the chance! Will be getting there in a few years myself when my kids are old enough to enjoy it!

Mad sunday is called it for a reason! But there are a lot of crazies that hit the track and pretend to be road racers! Last time I went around the course was in a Mercedes van and even thinking of trying to go fast on a bike, on those roads is scary!
