Howdy all,

Ive recently decided after years of fart-arseing around i decided to get my license as i have a Honda CB750 Four all covered up in the shed since we moved to Perth 16 years ago. It was originally my fathers as he had one back in S.A but sold it when we moved over here, but he missed it soo much that he bought another here and gave it to me ;)
pic for reference:

Everything is still original from 1974, but im looking at taking the motor out and getting it rebuilt so its nice and new, i am getting the pipes in already as the old ones are a tad rusted, the wheels just gonna re chrome them, and a new leather seat as well, the electrics are all working and good condition

The engine however has got me stumped, im just wondering if there are any places out their that would specialize in the restoration of one of these bikes/engine or anywhere that i can get in contact with, im still on my <250 license so Ive still got plenty of time to restore it in. Just wanna get it re done and show the ol boy it again

Cheers, Jarrad

Perth Sreet Bikes, Rex Havoc. top guy.. would give you all the help you need with a CB resto, can do work for you with another mechanic if you get stuck and want to pay someone else for bits of the job.

Got her out the shed today WoooooHooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, brings back them memories!!!!!, shes kicking over which is a good start, im in contact with garage project motorcycles/rex havoc (Thanks S133LTR), hopefully we can get the engine out, Garage project- "the CB's we have had have needed a new battery, oil and plugs and they have started up without to much trouble. One needed a carb rebuild kit but the other was fine". Going by what Ive been told it should be good, after all its been covered for years, nothing a clean wont fix ;)

So ill get her on the trailer soon and get her out for a look, after that its sorting out the finer things, a good mother of a polishing and she will be back on the road again!.....
