Been reading around but thought i'd ask; whats the general consensus with Evo FPRs, the stock on scares me as it's a tiny tube with no barb for vac line, i've put lock wire on it, not hard enough to leak but enough to stop it coming off...

Are they any good? Do people generally run better regs when chasing power?

I'm hoping to make 400-450hp around 22-25psi if that helps.

Looking to run a Plazmaman plenum, throttle body and probably fuel rail coz it's sexeh, etc so a reg isn't a big deal to get along with it.

I never bothered changing mine but I'm not making ridiculous power. Never had fuel issues.

should be fine - guy over east runs an evo6 with 2.4 4g64, ~36psi on e85 + meth injection on stock regulator and makes closer to 500hp

quote from his build:
"the drivability is amazing, idles at a flat 14.7 afr even with 2000cc rewired walbro 400 on stock regulator"
