Junior PC Support/ Helpdesk Officer

Location: Perth

Position Description
Transfield Worley is developing a new projects team for the effective systems separation from our current parent companies information services. As an addition to this team, we are currently seeking a Junior PC Support/Helpdesk Operator to join our busy Business Systems team. Reporting to the Business Systems Administrator, your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Answering support calls, logging and assigning tasks
• Providing computer equipment for new starters
• Managing stock of spare equipment and liaising with vendors to effect warranty repairs
• Assisting and advising clients in the use of IT equipment & software
• Assisting in the preparation & maintenance of user guides, documentation, procedure and policies in relation to the helpdesk activities
• Ensure software copyright is not breached
• Support end user environment consisting of: Windows XP, Windows 7, Active Directory, MS Office and 3rd party engineering solutions.
• Being an active member in creating and maintaining a culture of HSE leadership that genuinely values no harm to the environment and values our people’s safety, health and well-being.
To be considered for this position you will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Strong customer service approach
• IT related certification/or working towards this
• Ability to demonstrate advanced skills in MS Office
• Sound experience in using MS Project, Visio & Adobe
• Excellent ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

To summarise, we are currently on Woodside's network and will be gradually transferring to our own network, so you'll be part of a relatively new team. Should be a good challenge for those looking for it.
