We have a position in our marketing firm for a visual designer. I know we've got some incredibly talented people here on Antilag, so I figure I'll start here.
This role would be suitable for a talanted graduate with a solid portfolio, or a middle to senior weight visual designer.
The role will be heavily web orientated, with client websites being built in HTML/CSS and Joomla CMS systems. You need to know how to slice up a website and explain to dense people why something needs to look pretty. The other major component is Flash animation, and for this I do need someone who can produce slick visuals in a hurry.
There is also a SEO component to the position if the right applicant is found, but this is not essential.
You will need to have a solid grasp of the Adobe suite, including:
- Flash CS5.5
- Photoshop CS5.5
- Illustrator CS5.5
- InDesign CS5.5
Video editing knowledge would be helpful as well.
You must also be comfortable working in a PC environment.
Your role will include direct contact with clients, which include some of the bigger names in Australian business. This is an exciting role for someone wishing to open their career up.
Please send your CV and portfolios to aaron@m2technology.com.au
Note that we are not formally advertising this -yet-, but will be soon.
Thanks guys
