Bushfire WATCH AND ACT for Alexander Heights and areas

Through i might just post this up for anyone who lives in the area, fire is pretty crazy atm

ROAD CLOSURES:
A number of roads have been closed including:
• Koondoola Avenue between Butterworth Avenue and Marangaroo Drive.
• Marangaroo Drive between Koondoola Avenue and Alexander Drive.
• Alexander Drive between Marangaroo Drive and Beach Road.

ALERT LEVEL:
A bushfire WATCH AND ACT has been issued for people:
• in Waddington Crescent, Penn Place and Rintel Court in Koondoola in the City of Wanneroo
• between Marangaroo Drive, Koondoola Avenue, Burbridge Avenue and Shelvock Crescent in Koondoola in the City of Wanneroo
• in Alexander Heights in the City of Wanneroo
• between Illawarra Crescent North, Illawarra Crescent South and Alexander Drive in Ballajura in the City of Swan
• between Illawarra Crescent South, Oxleigh Drive, Beach Road and Alexander Drive in Malaga in the City of Swan.

Been watching this from work since lunchtime. Most has already been extinguished.
I also find it ironic that a bushfire is out of control surrounding a big water tower..

i left my house in alexander hts around lunchtime i was amazed at how many people had stop on the side of the road and pull out there phone and where taking videos and photo of the fire. At this point the flames where pretty close to the road opposite macca's.

Now they have close all that section on alexander driver and Marangaroo

Needless to say with school out & roads closed traffic is crazy. Helicopters refuelling on the school oval & sucking up water from summerlakes is a sight to behold.
