Hey guys.
Was out for a drive yesterday and i gave the car a bit of a boot and veverything seemed fine but after slowing down to normal pace i put my foot down again and the car wont go passed 0.5bar when it should have gone to 1bar
Off boost the car still feels the same. I also checked all the IC pipes that i can see without taking bumpers off etc and the all still seem fine.
Any ideas what it could be?Any known issues i should check? The cars running N1's btw.
Cheers Mike

if you think the turbos are still fine i would be looking for a leak (even check smaller piping off the plenum etc)
how old are the n1 turbos?

is it blowing fuel smoke? maybe o2 sensor.
i had a similiar thing happen to my soarer, would only just get on boost. yet it felt like it drove normally, ended up being a rooted O2 sensor....

Mike, pull the filters off & try taking a look at the wastegate actuators, there's often a little clip that comes adrift, causing the arm to come off and consequently hold the wastegate open. This happened to mine the very day after I had the R34 N1's installed, making the car feel almost naturally aspirated.

Saga Continue.
Small amount of oil has been found in radiator. If headgasket was gone then it would be pissing smoke and/or using water like **** right? because it isnt...
If a turbo went would there be traces of oil in the coolant?

sounds like head gasket and the rest of manifold pressure is blowing past gasket

If u think its ur's headgasket, get the car to normal opp temp, remove a spark plug and shuve a DRY screwdriver in its place..... leave it there for a while then take it out, if theres condensation on the screwdriver then uve got a blown headgasket.

a bit hard on a nissan
multi point coils make that difficult
better way is to use a teekay tester
about 100$ from a repco store near you..........

And if you're careful and dont get zapped with 60,000 volts from the coilpack you'd then want to be careful about smashing the top of your piston into the inserted screw driver when its idling! eek
Go the TK tester... ;)

Problem solved. profec b reset itself somhow hi and low both set back too stock boost.
Now just need to find out why theres traces of oil in the coolant. It's only a little but still worries me.
Thanks for the help guys.
