Do any of you guys play and for which team?
I filled in for a side toward the end of the 1st quarter fixture and I have now registered a side for the 2nd quarter. Most of the guys I play indoor with would like to play outdoor but they can't commit the time to playing proper outdoor cricket with a club, so this is great because it is over withing 2 hours and it's a social league so you can sink piss at the same time.
For those of you who don't know what it is, here's some info. http://www.lastmanstands.com
Last Man Stands T20 has a few quirky rules that differ from standard T20, some of these are:
- 8-a-side T20 cricket game and all 8 wickets are needed to bowl a cricket team out (hence last man standing, but can only score in 2's, 4's and 6's).
- DOUBLE PLAY RULE, Two players can be dismissed off the same delivery. CAUGHT OUT and RUN OUT.
- HOME RUN RULE If a player clears the ropes (i.e. hits a six) off the LAST available ball of the innings it is worth 12 runs.
