Okay, so as said in the 4x4 thread, we hit up MOA over the long weekend, we went up for 7 days, spent some at MOA and some in Kalbarri.

It was an absolute blast, and a metric fuckton to do.

Basically, it's a massive station about an hour from Kalbarri, just past Binnu. It has a large Bar/Restaurant, ( just make sure if you want to order tea you do it the day before as they go in and get all the gear), has a seperate section you can hire out called the Shearers Shed ( if you're doing Wet season times i'd highly recommend this, as it has it's own showers and toilets). Behind the bar is a heap of showers and toilets as well.

They have horses you can do trails on, they also offer a " Follow Me " service where you can hire out a guide and his car and follow him. Also they have a channel where if anything at all goes wrong, you can call up the main office.

Unfortuneately the buggies are now not available too.

Most campsites range from 5-10 minutes away from the main building, some are further then that, and they are well spread out. We had " Reflection Pool " which they said was thier pick, as we were the only people there for the first few days. Our campsite had a porta-loo like what you get on worksites, a bin and a decent fire, right on the Murchison River with a heap of trees covering.

We rocked up on the Wednesday, and left the Saturday morning. Could've stayed a lot longer, out of the 18 ( from memory ) tracks, we smashed out about 10. They range from pretty easy to downright what the fuck. To put it into perspective, Screamin' Winch Hill is basically about 2 and a bit stories high, and has 1 storey of vertical. No way you'd get up at about 1/2 way if you weren't in a comp truck, and even if you were in a proper big ass comp truck, you'd still need to be winched up.

It was extremely dry when we went up, so we had plenty of grip, in 3 days we only had 1 recovery, but a few repairs.

Okay, enough of the ramblings, here's some photos. If you've got any questions about the property myself or Neil ( sre86) will hopefully be able to tell you.

The Bar/Office/Restaurant/Showers/Toilets combo.

This is how to get onto 1/2 of the campsites. They have a rock road through the Murchison River, so it's extremely safe on normal days to cross.

I can't remember all these tracks, so i'll just smash photos, if I remember at the time i'll put what it's called.

So first off is Play Skool.

another course. The jeep trounced the longer cars in this as it's shorter from the front bar to the front and wheels and the same on the rear.

This is the widowmaker course ( from memory). The Jeep was the on;y car to go down this, because of the 1/2metre drop at the bottom, the longer cars did not even try. Unfortuneately photos do not do this justice at all. The decline from the top to where the guy is standing down the bottom is massive.

At this stage, The rear tyre that's driving along the wall is head height with Woody, who is 6 foot 2 maybe 3. he's a long way up.

This is Screamin Winch Hill. My guess would be about 2 and a bit stories high. Not sure if you can see the white spray can marks on the hill, but there was 3, each section was worth more points. We walked upto the top to have a look.
