I have had a transfer come up with work and will be leaving the country for a fair while, and unfortunately there is no point having a car sit around for the time we are away. So time for it to go. Breaks my heart :(


Nissan 180SX (aka Hyperdrive Drag 180)
1994 Model
Only 61,000 genuine kms


Car was built by KSP Engineering in Japan, and has been refined here in Aus by Hyperdrive motorsport. Big thanks to Lumpy and Ken for helping me improve on the base that came from Japan (transformed from an inconsistant 12s car into a reliable low 11s weapon with their help!).

Car has made 438hp at the rear wheels on Ultimate 98 (Dyno-Dynamics in Shootout mode)
Car has made 478hp at the rear wheels on VP109 (Dyno-Dynamics in Shootout mode)

Car has run a best quarter mile pass of 11.18secs @ 123.6mph (Kwinana Motorplex) on U98. Ready for 10’s on VP109.

Car is the third quickest Street Registered and street tyred (radial) 4 cylinder down the quarter mile in Australia according to HPI website http://www.hpi.com.au/drag_records.php (note I haven’t bothered to send my time into them yet - will do so soon.).

Have dyno sheets and time slips for all of this.

Car was recently featured in HPI magazine No. 50. However it has evolved a fair bit since this article was written.

Has taken out Highest Horsepower 4cyl at a fair few local car shows including Motorvation etc. Car also took out runner up in the dial your own comp at the last Drag Combat, and from memory was the quickest 4 cylinder on the day too.

Car is good for other things besides drags too - all suspension work is done and all it really needs is another set of springs/shocks to make it a track day/drift weapon. See for yourself...

Serviced every 2500kms with Mobil 1.


Front bar is currently off the car and in many pieces :P . Will arrange for this to be repaired ASAP.

Still have all of the interior, and can refit if required.


This is amongst the most hardcore of all S13’s in Perth and is probably going to be the quickest car I will have ever owned. Tis the hugest rush when you give it whelly. I know that the new owner will be very happy with their purchase. I will be very sad to see it go.

Guys this is a mean beast, and kills us to see it leave the stable.

It's a genuine hard-core beast, and impossible to build to this level without spending 3 times as much.

where the f*c were u when i need a 180 sx. If i knew I had to go through so much with my car i would of bought this beast. GL with sale.......
