Keep a tab on this site, you might be able to recover the camera when someone who has used it & posts photos online.

Not even portable contents.
All you need is proof of purchase etc.
My home contents covered a stolen laptop from the car.

^ Thats good news, HBF is closed on Sundays (ugh) so will have to call up tomorrow to confirm this. Hopefully ours will cover it, but ive heard 'hearsay' that only 1000$ worth will be covered etc etc etc, which would be freaking annoying if so

Also what what the rough value of the laptop if i can ask?
If you are covered by HBF Home Contents, you are covered by up to $3000 I believe per item stolen from the car. Inside the house is $7000.
Laptop was a 15" Macbook Pro. We got a cheque payout for a new model so we could use it towards a bigger laptop.

Fuck *fingers crossed as I don't want to get my hopes up just yet* but that is the only good news I have potentially had today. Ta!
Have a look at your HBF Insurance PDS.
Everything is in there as to what you can claim and how much per item.
Say the car was broken into while parked in your driveway if you haven't otherwise.
If your window was smashed, depending on your policy, you can also have it repaired using the free windscreen repair option.
