If anyone was in Northbridge tonight around 10:30-11:30 and witnessed my motorbike (Red Ducati 848 EVO) being pushed over I'd greatly appreciate the information. It happened just outside Jus Burgers on William St.
Someone has gone out of their way to push it over into a friends bike.

This can quite often be fuckheads sitting on them becasue they look cool and nocking them over when they get off
Bikes allways seem to have issues in NB. Find the pingpingpingpings and punch them in the dick hole!

Someone on PSB posted up that he rode past and saw what I assume was my brother and his mate (my brother was riding at the time) inspecting the damage, he reckons he stopped at the end of the road at the lights and saw some drunk native swinging wildly and carrying on, supposedly he nearly knocked him off his bike whilst he was at the lights. Can't access it though as their site is down for maintenance.

Just putting it out there, sure your brother didn't drop it or lay it over and is covering his arse? (Mine does similar shit to me all the time) You'd have to be pretty stupid to push a bike over in an area with heavy CCTV coverage.

Aboriginals and Northbridge - too easy a scenario for it not to happen really, been there a couple nights here and there and every time there are natives walking around pissed/high, carrying on, hitting cars, smashing bottles, pushing shit over... even seen them get put into the paddy wagons within minutes later and carry on about how its an "injustice" - I'd put it more possible someone else knocked it over.
Sorry to hear anyway Terry - hope the CCTV gives you the answers you're looking for and the damage isn't too much.

Nah I've got no reason to believe it's my brother - I've never had a reason to doubt his integrity, the damage is almost all at the top of the bike and none on the side - there's some marks on the seat from the tyre and some gouges from where it's hit the chain. For some reason the screen is pretty messed up, I think someone's tried pushing it from there as it's pulled the bolts out.
Not having much luck Terry! Sorry to hear dude... nothing worse then your pride and joy getting damaged by others!
Now, onto the bright side... Carbon replacements.

That sucks Terry more so that no one said anything when there would have obviously been witnessed to Ernie Dingo knocking it over
If I was present I would have at least said something to the noong
/Engage Mark Wahlberg mode Not on my watch
.
I cant imagine how depressing it would be to have something you cherish so much damaged senselessly
I stopped buying nice things because my OCD prevents me from enjoying them if the smallest thing happens
buy a nice watch
scratch the face accidently
may as well throw it in the bin and kill myself.

I work in Northbridge and see this shit every day. I also happened to walk past that exact spot you mention during my lunch break yesterday. Sadly most people dont care nor give a shit if they something bad happen in front of them. An example of this was highlighted on the news last night where some dude gave zero care when a runaway pram rick rolled onto the train line in front of him. Not a single fuck was given.
Sorry to hear man - thats gotta suck.

It is dude, it was the same as my Chaser - I bought it and it was immaculate, but then I had like 3 different incidents where people ran into it. It just kills your passion and love for it, the bike's even worse because it's a very personal possession.
To be honest I'm not sad or angry, I'm just disappointed that something like this can happen and I've got no way to fix it in a way that will make me feel better. The chances of me finding the guy are next to none and my brother will end up paying for something he shouldn't have paid for in the very beginning.

So, so fucked.
Gutted for you mate...
The good thing is though, you're insured. Hopefully this is the light at the end of the tunnel for this saga.
Also, make sure you let them know about the bent exhaust system.. and as a favour for the insurance, you'll put a set of Termi's on instead of the expensive factory system.

There must be a camera around where JusBurger is isn't there? I usually park my bike around there too. Glad you got insurance Terry.
Friend who works at Jus Burgers got back to me. They don't have any CCTV from their shop facing the front, only from the back apparently.
She is asking around other people who work there to see if they saw anything, but they close at 9, so I don't think there will be much luck unfortunately.
Are the police willing to get involved?

There are cameras everywhere in Northbridge. Dare you to step out of a taxi with a beer in your hand. Cops come from everywhere like it's a bank heist to issue you a fine and a move on notice...
Should be footage of the incident but getting it is another thing.

Thanks Tom, appreciate that - my brother went past this morning and chatted to them, the camera isn't facing the right direction. Police are going through CCTV, we're just going to pay the excess and get the bike fixed - if the police track him down sweet we get our money back if not just have to cop it on the chin.
Appreciate the concern though, it does make the situation less shitty :)
Edit: just got word from the police, sadly there was no CCTV facing that direction at the time.

City of perth has CCTV cameras all over nb. Get in touch and see if they can help you.

Sadly I was expecting exactly that.
We had a staff member get hit and knocked out by a drunk driver mounting the curb near where this happened. Police said the same thing. There are plenty of cameras around yet they never seem to be facing the right direction.
