VTEC Yoll!

Damn I will miss out on the NSX races because I will only get home from cricket at 9.30 :(

Actually, if you bump if 15 min back I'll get home and just not qualify and be in time for first race... DO IT :)

Could everybody that hasn't done so already set up their PS3 with a static IP and put that IP in the DMZ of your router?

I thought last night was some of the best racing we have done in a while. Those NSX races were close, constant lead changes/battles.

Last night I made the suggestion about putting a few restrictions on PP limit races. My idea is to throw up more of a variety of cars. Say do a 400pp limit race and allow FWD cars only or a 570pp race with MR or FR restriction. Just an idea.

Fairly happy i sorted the connection issues. Had some great runs, but a few shockers.
Looking forward to the next one. :)

How the hell can you fall asleep playing, I'm always so amped haha

My love nudge to Brockas going into 130R made my night, the slightest bump but made me so happy... Worked exactly as planned :)

LOL so subtle yet so devastating. I got my revenge later in the night haha

Loved the racing last night. Route X required some 'livening' up, but once people weren't afraid of a bit of contact it was hilarious. I'm still giggling about DJ or Dave I think it was, hitting the wall and coming to a dead stop 100m before the finish of the first race.

Shuffle racing is always my favourite. Provides quality entertainment as every car is so different, so you have people flying past you on the straights, then you have to pass them through the corners.

I did rage at that '67 Cougar though. It's got decent PP cause it has power, then has a top speed of 185km/h!

Yep dont mind shuffles. Clue me on how it works - you set the PP then that other setting determines the range/variation of vehicles around that PP?

I also think we should try odd PP number races too rather than the usual 450, 500, 550, etc so we can get a chance to try cars we have but might not normally use

hitting the wall and coming to a dead stop 100m before the finish of the first race. It was me - note to self : never pass on the right there

Also had fun with the NSX's, had a great race with first SV and then MGR at Laguna. Shuffling great fun as usual - even won a race or two.

Ha ha, no worries Phil. Was still an awesome race! :)

Besides, it pales in comparison to some of the dodgy shit going on in the F40 race.

Must admit i had a chuckle when Brockas gave you a tap at the 1:55 mark of the F40 race after the dog move you pulled on me 10 secs earlier, thought i was clear after you spun but then i collected you on the way through.

Haha...And to think i was feeling guilty about the accidental-ish taps i happened to be involved in!
Cant wait for the next one! :D

Something to try on Route X

1. Half the field pick slow/shitty cars
2. Other half pick Veyrons or similar
3.

LOL. pingpingpingping move, although entertaining in those races.

That was sort of the point I was trying to make. Everyone uses the same cars each time. Restricting it to certain driveline or a variation in the PP to make people find a different car to what they usually use.

had a great race with first SV and then MGR at Laguna.

It was a good battle, but with you my tail and MGR catching quickly, pressure took over to push a bit harder and ended up putting it in the sand unfortunately.

With the NASCAR races, I think we should stop doing pitstops as there are too many fuckups. With almost everyone trying to pit at once, cars ended up all over the place. If you end up on the grass you just get a drive through. To avoid the fuck up, I entered the pits on the far left side @ 100-120km/h. It reset me and drove me straight through pit lane with Sciflyer.

I setup my internet settings like described at the top of the thread and ended up with nothing but problems. After glitching all over the place in the first Laguna shuffle race I reverted back to the old port forward settings and worked a lot better. Only thing was I couldn't see VY, but didn't class that as a problem I needed to worry about. Might look into buying a new modem/router. Apparently the one I got from Telstra is shit for gaming setup.

Hahahaha that F40 race was the most entertaining of the night, and definitely not for the racing abilities on display.

You took me out hard on the previous race, and I couldn't resist giving you a little tap. Actually enjoyed the route-x races. You look at the track and think it'll be boring as batshit but with a bunch of pingpingpingpings around you it makes it interesting!

I shall be having a discussion with the FIA on the placement of pit walls at Route X

In the Veyron (well, 700 pp) race, did anyone else also feel they had absolutely no steering at approaching 500 kmh?

Yeah steering went dead, I could do almost half a wheel turn and it would only just gradually start moving across the track!
