Agreed but seeing as I have 37 staff that work approx 400m from it who fit directly into their target market it seems like a reasonable place to take them.

I just want it for a Friday sundowner with some drinks and finger food.

They seem to be progressing well with the renovations but I want to know when they are re opening. I am happy to try it once and if it is rubbish I will continue my normal MO and never go there again.

food was fine, beer was cold, meetings went well

but venue is pretty fucked once a crowd gets in

I would say with the refurbishment they will lift entry standards too ... so might end up being half decent spot.

But in the past yes, it was an absolute shit hole (went once and that was enough for me).

food there was always pretty good, aside from the 92.9 crowd that was there every sunday it wasn't that bad, there is much worse..

The Waterford Tavern closed down due to redevelopment, There is an IGA there now & more shops. Go down the road to the Mt Henry tavern.

used to live directly behind the Redcliffe!! ha ha! "fun" times. played pool in there many a times after work and on weekends, also used to throw fire crakcers over the fence at people in the carpark! some weird and wonderful people would frequent that place!

Redcliffe was great, ex-bikey bar now, but the titties are still there, always used to see someone you knew gettin them out. Huge serve of bangers and mash last time I was down there for $7, good times..

Rivervale was a dive, but it was always great to see a fight spill over Gt Eastern Hwy, and we got plenty of chairs for my mates place from there, so all in all wasn't a bad experience.
