Good on you for posting this mate!
Im definitely interested in work up there but am finding it difficult to find an opening.
Are these positions open for anyone with no training or experience in the mining sector?
Basically mate no experience needed these are TRAINING courses NOT job roles, the courses are open to everyone however its the discount that is not open to all applicants as you have to meet a criteria to be eligible for it such as working in construction in W.A with in the last 6 months, any questions call the number or email and the girls sorting it will be more than happy to help answer any questions you have to a better degree than I can.

yeah thats a good deal but its only for guys that have worked in construction for the last 6 months and need to supply proof of it ( payslips ect ect ) perfect for any TA's that want to be upskilled ... but be mindful that just because you have the tickets dont expect to walk straight into a job up north !!
Sums it up pretty bang on!

when i was working there bout 8 months ago i sent a few mates there that were only Labourers and TA's ... they did the course and they have since landed jobs up north ... well worth it if you are looking for a foot int he door job wise - if you need experience once you have the tickets i can assist there :)
Ok bumping this as there is like 7 positions currently to fill for the next course STARTING MONDAY 21st at a STUPIDLY reduced rate only for these few positions we are talking less than $100 potentially but only offered for these positions we need to fill.
YOU MUST QUALIFY TO BE ELIGIBLE by working in construction in WA within the last 6 months...

Fark that is a good deal. I was quoted $550 just to do the written side of a loader ticket (work in the same quarry as a training school, so no need to do practical).
rucker_: Job you could get would be as a mobile plant operator on the equipment ticketed. Basically as a loader operator, doing pads for houses/buildings/carparks, road construction and clearing scrub/loading trucks and so on. If you haven't got your HR license, it would make life a bit easier finding a job, as with most civil construction jobs they prefer you to have it. Although in saying that, it's not always required (where I work, I didn't need my HR to get on a loader)
$10... fcukkers likely won't get it this cheap againnnn

Dno dodge it with your boss lol get them to vouch for you working onsite I'm not too sure tbh dude as they do do a reference check to make sure you do qualify and meet a pre determined criteria

Yep they didn't reference check me just asked if I worked new houses etc.
Told them I build portable homes and they were extremely happy with that.

Had a think about it Jared and I can’t risk linking my new work with my old work … not worth it for me I will never trust be able to trust those guys again … anyone else don’t be discouraged the Safety and Training side is all above board and I have sent friends to get the tickets previously and had nothing but positive feedback and would still recommend them any day of the week.
Today is last day to book for the course starting Monday for $10 fellas.... to do this package of tickets for a everyday person of the street with out any construction rebate is approx $6100 food for thought....
