View Full Version : Photography classes, reccomendations?
The missus and I are looking around at the moment for some classes on photography, anyone recommend anything?
found one that gives students 70% off studio bookings etc, they have booths big enough cars which I thought was cool.

I've been looking around a lot lately at this.
A lot of them are very expensive. Like $500 for a 1 day class, lunch provided.
Some are about half that price, it varies wildly.
One I was interested in is in canning vale. From memory it was $150 per 3 hour session.
When I'm at my computer ill put up a few links.
I hqvent actually done any though so have no reccommendations.

Yeh that has helped me heaps too. When I see something and I don't know how to do it myself, I find out how and then experiment.
I'm yet to buy, but have read that www.digitalphotographycourse.com.au offer a DVD for $20 (sometimes $15 on special) and a lot of people find it useful.
Otherwise you can torrent Karl Taylor vids. There's a few GB worth.
Here's the list of his vids:
Advanced Digital SLR Photography
Fashion and Beauty
Travel and Landscape
Retouching
Micro Course
