Hey guys,

I'm new to all of this just brought my first 1jz twin turbo mkIII supra... I got it cheap cheap koz the
Rings need replacing...Also the other thing is that the car is in Perth and I'm in port hedland, I just
need to now the cheapest and quickest way to get my new baby running rite :) money is too much of a hassle but I don't wana fork out heaps...really and truely the cheaper the better! If anyone knows of
any good Workshops to get it fixed please tell me.

WTFAuto, C-Red... both have good reputations with Toyota gear IIRC.

Are you confident it's the rings. Could be the turbo's or valve stem seals which are a much more common problem on 1jz's. If it's the rings i would recommend just getting a replacement long motor. Which can be had for $3-400 upwards. In some cases cheaper.

Yer true, yer not 100% om ot being the rings so really rite now all I want to do is get it into a workshop and get it
looked over...anyone got some phone
numbers I can ring :)

Thnx guys, got the mk3 headin to WTFauto on Monday to get fixed :))
