Hey hey.

Driving accross the nullabor soon, and have always really wanted a cb for the ute... I Assume a few people have them here?

What to look out for?
ideally one that would fit in a din slot would be ace..

Got one of these BUT it was around the $300 mark, but very very effing happy with it!

i also got the new uniden 7760 about 2 weeks ago and im very happy with it, got it from dick smith for $303

TX 3520 ... remote face 5 watt ...... does a good neat job

I got a 3100 like above neat small unit and easy to use. Plus is 80 channel ready.
Ur antenna is going to be the biggest factor on how well it works crossing the nullabore. As different db rating antennas are more suited to different types of terrain.

if you are after the TX3100 we have 2 left with the bonus aerial. Looking at approx $265 for Antilag members

Fuck that's cheap I payed $280 for mine from Opposite Lock Jandakot, still cheaper than Coastal 4x4 they wanted $320
