Im only looking at achieving between 300-320hp atw in my GTR. My question is, if I go Power FC for the ecu, will the stock GTR afm be adequate? Is it worth changing them to Z32 units?

i would say so, as the gtr i had used the std afm's with pwr fc
running 116mph on .9 bar ... which is easily more power than that

Mines doin 315hp atw currently on the standard ECU and airflow meters, run rich as over 5000rpm, but drives smooth enough and is easy to achieve....if thats all you want retain the standard ECU.

I'm Fitting a Boost controller atm so as I can wind her up a little more, as 315hp not really very quick :(
I'm hoping Standard ECU and AFM's wont 'Hemridge' to badly :)

320hp atw don't bother
Mine was making 340 no worries with std afm
If you're going to upgrade in future its easy enough

Even if you do change the AFMs Z32 items are probably overkill, RB25 items are good for just over 450rwHP, and can be picked up cheaper ;)

Ah ha, cheers guys. also trying to see whether its worth buying D-Jetro version of PFC, but for the sort of power Im headin gfor, it's prolly not worth the extra $600

My cousin was making near on 380rwhp with stock GTR AFMs and PFC.

Pair of rb20 AFM'S would do around 450 - 500 rwhp easily , as prev said twin z32's overkill.

Simon AKA GTR-Skyline has a power fc with twin rb20 afms for a good price

i would suggest that would be the way to go

his car was suffering from air surging back thru the afm's on throttle closure. causing the car to be abit ruff, and yeh hes going the d-jetro
