Anyone know anyone in the excavation game that want a quick easy cash job?
I have a 60sqm area that needs to be cleared out ready for new lawn. Roughly 10 cubic metres, maybe a bit more.
Access to yard through 2.7m wide by 2.4m high pergola area.
Piece of piss job, needed in the next day or two.

I asked in the off chance it may of been in the Yanchep/Two Rocks/Carabooda area. I had a mate that hired a bobcat doing a small access track for me. As he finished early, if it was in that area, he would of been interested in doing a quick cashie before returning the bobcat tonight. We are more setup for quarrying and large scale earthworks, hence why I had to have a bobcat hired to do a small job.
Edit: Also to those wanting sand removed, it will be a lot cheaper if you can make it clean sand (E.G. no grass/weeds/organic matter). From memory it was $5.50 per metre for clean sand/fill and $27.50 per metre for mixed/dirty sand/fill at landfill facilities I use

Ring Shaun at Civil Hirings. From memory $80 / hr for a bobcat and truck. Three hour minimum hire but 1hr of that is mobilisation and demobilisation. Tip fees are on top of that.
Can usually get someone the next day.
+1 for keeping the fill clean.

Got someone to do it for $550, saving me a shit load compared to doing it yourself!
10m3 bin was $576 then there would be dingo at $290 and then a days manual labour.

10m3 removed in 38mins, then 5 wheelbarrow loads of sand to be removed from drive and pergola which took 1hr.
No complaints, except I had to call him a few times to organise him coming.
Onecall Earthmoving, google it.
