Its a little early, but what has been a few of your best moments of this year?!
I'll kick it off:
1: when CAESAR the ape yells 'NO' at Draco Malfoy, on 'Rise of the Planet of the apes'
2: making poolroom....on AL.... ;)

April- being able to go back to work after 3mths off with broken leg and finally having money again
August- Sitting at the top of Sun run in Mt Hotham chillin to tunes ready to snowboard down
November- Starting new job at Caterpillar earing bulk coin in stress free enviroment
December- Finally getting back yard and decking finished so can have mates over and not have a sandpit back yard.

Pretty much sums up the highlights of 2011 for me.

highlight was completing my Tafe advanced diploma (that was halted/pushed back a year, due to personal reasons) .. good feeling finally finishing it :)

but there are always a lot of good moments throughout a year, so it's hard to think of them, let alone remember all of them... i guess another highlight is promising times in the near future ... ie: looking forward to the next step in my life being a highlight

1: Got a month off in Perth paid because of cyclones, decided to give training the flick & go get a real job; got back in to technical services. Enjoying having to think and use my brain again.
2: Bumped in to an ex, a few of us went out for drinks afterwards & she commented on how I'd put on a bit of weight, table went quiet, I asked if she still had to wear her mouth guard to bed. Hilarious conversation ensued at her expense after that.

Other than that it's been a pretty shit year to be honest. I'm glad to see the back of it and hope 2012 is much improved.

I was training people in the ways of jihad bombmakers... I've been blowing up Australia since early 05... Best job a Kiwi can have really, blow up a bit of the West Island, watch another Kiwi load it in to a truck driven by another Kiwi, and eventually another Kiwi working down the port will load it on to a ship on it's way to China. We also collect those lovely AUD's, drink your piss and root your women. And here was I saying 2012 hadn't been fun :p

Saw a person with high level muscular dystrophy physically tear up from being able to enjoy and partake in the above mentioned leisure activity in which she thought she would never have a chance after being confined to an electric wheelchair

With no clothes but shorts in a muslim country ( a BIG no no ) catching a taxi back to the hotel for $1 (15km) usd listening to michael jackson.

2nd would be meeting a russian oligarch in Claridges in the bar, and being put up in his penthouse, which he leases for 3 months of the year at 12k a night for a couple of days. Now those were interesting times. He looked like pavrotti, and had 3 girlfriends all of an eye pleasing nature

Moving to Dubai to work on the Burj Khalifa and learning to live expat style. Considering i'm less than 2 years out of uni, getting the opportunity to work on a world record project and move to somewhere as incredible as this is just unbelievable.
It takes me away from my friends and family but you can't get this kind of experience anywhere else. Also, sports cars are much cheaper out here...

All topped off with my first ever family dinner with him on Xmas Eve. :)

I have a couple of top moments from 2011...

1) Finally opened up my own car audio & accessories store, after 4 years of stress, sickness & struggle caused by my previous "employer"
2) Seeing my home renovations start to take shape and have the neighbours compliment my house, instead of whinging about it.
3) Searching the world over for my next project car, only to find it locked in an old shed in Queens Park.
4) Doing first victory skids in new project car after getting it running.

2011 has been a year of highs and extreme lows, but I wouldn't change a thing and I look forward to 2012.
