Just seen it on the news. Some bloke in tapping got home at 3:20am with a mate after an Xmas party.

Someone followed them in the door with a gun and demanded the keys to his red 34 GTR.

He turned it on on the news. Sounded good.

I'm surprised they didn't say hoon held at gun point.

Good on him! It's a concern to think some people would go to such lengths to get a car.

Got no brains to say no to someone with a gun.

FTFY.

Probably a replica gun, hoping for an easy take.

Hard to drive your GTR with a hole in your chest though.

Guess he was trying to bluff the guy out. I'd personally be more scared of a knife over a gun, as someone is more likely to cut you to get the keys rather than wake the neighborhood with a gunshot and blow a hole in your head over it. Well, I don't hear much of it over here anyway, not sure about the US.

In the US you'd pull a gun on them. Clint Eastwood style whistle, then BANG. Justice served.

"Here's the keys"
Run inside, lock door, call cops... LOL at the pingpingpingping geting 100m down the road because he didn't enter an unlock code on a numpad.

Why not just carry a fake gtr key in your pocket and give that to them? they have to leave to try and get to the car, lock door and grab a bigger knife/weapon!

I'd hand over keys instead of taking a bullet.

If they can figure out my immobilisor, au-wolf3d-tronic starting sequence and get the thing out of my neighbourhood without binning it then props to them.

How long does insurance take to pay out?

yeah seen this on the news guy and his mate held at gunpoint, with his daughters sleeping in next room.

Frankly i'd have given over the keys rather then risk someone opening fire on me or my kids.....

hhaha nah, we just finished a red r34 gtr. Owner picked up the vehicle the other day. Seeing as there aren't that many red 34r's in perth, was just wondering if it was the same one.

Im pregging more was said than no too, probably more along the lines of, i know who your crack dealer is, and taking this car will shorten your life span a lot faster than the crack you buy from selling it will..

Apparently happened 4 doors down from my sister-in-laws house. They think they are hot shit because the cops took their CCTV from the house/driveway and used it to catch him.

Pics of sister-in-law?

Forgot about that. I suggest don't go there.

They only got the cameras after their own car was stolen from out the garage (stock 2005 Magna). It's just the way they go about it that they think they are hot shit. Her husband was calling mates up and bragging how he was helping catch crooks, calling himself an 'honourary detective' or some shit like that.
