Just wanted to know peoples thoughts on them ( ebay intercoolers). I have been told that these coolers can have massive pressure drop across the core and they are worthless. I am think`n for what I want to do it maybe worth it.
Any input would be great people, thanks.

china coolers are usually fine, just can need some tweaking to get them to fit properly
which one are you looking at and for what application?

I am start`n to piece together parts for a engine conversion. Basically what I am do`n is put`n a turbo engine into a car that wasnt turboed. One company offer a intercooler at roughly in the dimensions I am look`n for.
The intercooler is a " JASMA GT-SPEC Delta Fin Intercooler 410x230x65 x2.5 ". from a company called Genesis Motorsport

thats all sound'n awesome...
a few mates have used china coolers on skylines and what not, the older ones used to make a horrible whistling sound but apart from that seemed to work good.

pwr = chinas finest !... pwr radiators @ $900 a pop last no longer than rough china $180 ones.
500hp and china cooler is fine.....even more hp can be had with the cheapest ebay cooler ok.
I`m making 563hpatw(pump, 620+hpatw vp109) with the cheapest pos delta china fin cooler ...thats cut down smaller too !
I`d love to do back to back testing on somthing like this...(and with turbos and manifolds and cams and heads and gates etc) but cbf(don`t have the money or time !)

Is Brockas still using the china one you sold him?
I've got a 'Hybrid' intercooler in the silver Starion.
It was handling about 360 rwhp until I had the car detuned.
It works well, I can put my hands on the pipes after driving, and if I get a stone through it or something like that I'll just buy another one.

Nothing wrong with the e-bay stuff, plenty of east-coast guys on PF using them. Those cheap china ones are the only ones I can find in 600x200x100, for sub $250 shipped that is.
