question on coils

the coils on my et are hell old and shotty and was lookin at replacing them. i was just wonderin how to find out what ignition coils are compatable with my car and how much am i lookin at for a decent set because i have no idea. can you replace the coils with ones of any car or do they have to be specific

what i wanna know is can i say grab the coil pack out of a silvia sr20det for example then put it in my car. do only certain packs work in certain cars. thanks
