Looking for a venue to hold my wedding ceramony, not a church.

Would love a old house or building that has some class and can hold a fair crowd.

Maybe even a outdoor location.

Has to be in perth

Any ideas

thanks

Owen.

Have a look at Caversham house. Has a big garden area with waterfall etc for outside ceremony and has either a marque or house area for reception. Very nice spot.

+1 for Cottesloe Civic Centre & Gardens. Friends got married there, awesome location.

Another +1 for Peel Manor House in Baldivis.
We got married there. It's more suited to outdoor weddings as it has a huge gazebo down by a lake but you can also have the ceremony inside depending on the number of guests.

We had our ceremony in a park overlooking the river in Nedlands. Cost us nothing and they even gave us the key to get into the park (bond of 30 bucks) Was awesome overlooking the water and then we had a venue in freo for the reception. You need to fuck people off for a few hours so you can go have pics etc. This worked well for us cos alot of people stayed in freo so the went and sorted their rooms for the night.

my brother had his ceremony and dinner etc at golden ponds along mundijong road.

good thing is they have brand new small units available for accomodation, so if you have people flying to perth etc they can sleep there. that's what my brother and all his mates did.

Most baller location I've seen is the quarry amphitheatre near perry lakes (done up for the occasion)

Sister got married at Bluewater Grill in Applecross, ceremony out the back on a dedicated grassed area and reception in the dining/function room. Definitely looking at planning my wedding there!

If your not looking to pay too much, the Wife and I got married at Brookland Greens in Canning Vale. Great picturesque place on a good day and only cost $11.00 lol.

A winery? My cousin is getting married at one then moving on to the Belvoir Estate for the reception. If I can remember where I put my invite, I'll chuck it up.

+1 for Golf courses - my sister got married at the Wembley Golf Course & that was real nice. It was outdoors, on the lawn near the entry, with about half the crowd standing on the upper level behind, a bit over 500 people all up. She got photos done on the grounds, and then had the reception in the under cover area near the bar. Worked great.
My other sister had hers at Point Resolution Reserve, across the road from the Dalkeith Tennis Club. We then went to the Nedlands Yatch Club for the reception. Both were pretty good, from memory the Yatch club was a little bit expensive though... (compared to my other sister's wedding)

A mate got married at Araluen recently, reception was choice, and the wedding party got to use baller golf carts with mags to get out on the golf course for "nature" type photos. Epic shennanigans on golf buggies all pre loaded with booze filled eskies FTW

Got married at caversham house earlier this year. Outside gardens are nice and they even let us bring cars down near the river. Use the marquee if it is a bigger wedding, they set it up well.
