I purchased two identical laptops with AMD dual graphics cards except one has Radeon HD 6620G and Radeon HD 6400m graphics card while the other laptop has Radeon HD 6620G and Radeon HD 6470m graphic cards. Which graphic card combo is the most powerful? I'm considering transplanting the two more powerful graphic cards into the laptop I personally use.

Also my current primary graphics card is the Radeon HD 6620G and it seems when running games it only runs the graphics on the primary card and not the secondary. How do I make both cards run at the same time? Am I using the weaker card as my primary card? Does it even matter?

Extra information: I've installed the Catalyst drives.

Cheers.

Dont think you can do crossfire(x2 ati cards at same time) in laptops. Not sure if i get what your asking but are you saying you want to replace the low power GPU in one laptop with the powerful one from the other laptop? So you'll have the two powerful GPU's in one laptop?

BUT, pretty sure your GPU's will be integrated into your motherboard so you wont be able to, not unless your laptop uses MXM cards which i doubt.

The real question is can it run crysis?

i may be wrong, but i think you might find that one of the graphics cards listed is "onboard" and will be enabled when there is low battery or no power plugged in to save power.

Why would they put two GPU in the first place if I can't run crossfirex? And yes I wanted to swap the GPUs around but I guess that's ruled out. If I potentially could run crossfirex, what would I have to do to set it up?

Runs fine surprisingly. On medium settings was running around 25fps and on low was in the high 30s but don't quote me on that (could be slightly more or less). This was all on the 6620G GPU.
