Help with xbox getting online

Hi guys just need some help. I have the xbox 360 . Pretty sure its the elete (not slim)

I bought the 3 months xbox to get online thinking i can use my wireless dongle from my pc to pick up my wireless modum but that doesnt work. Do i need a xbox dongle to pick up the wireless internet at home?
Any help is muchly appreciated

You need an Xbox wireless adapter or plug it into your modem via ethernet.

Yep as above, originally i had mine setup with the blue cable running from the laptop to the xbox, I later got the wireless adapter.

Google can answer every question you can possible have in this situation.

You can just use a normal access point and cable from that into xbox. $30 instead of $150 or whatever the genuine one is.
