Forza Motorsport 4 Weekly Time Attack Challenge 3

So here is the idea: Everyone races the same track in the same class car and posts up their times. Winner gets to choose the following weeks event.

Las weeks winner was XR06T, so this week he has chosen to race Silverstone GP Circuit in A class with the following rules:

Traction Control OFF
Stability Control OFF
Rewind OFF
ABS OFF
Auto Steering (if you're lame enough to use it?) OFF

Shifting is up to you if you want manual/clutch/auto, as is steering style. People with a wheel might prefer simulation, while those with a controller might not.
Times can be seen by everyone here http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/com...aderboard.aspx Or under the Car Club section in Community in game. Scoring will be the same as it is in game, with the fastest clean lap being the winner.

So many different ways of attacking it. A high HP muscle car for all the long straights, evo to make up time in corners, M5 for some sort of balance between the 2. Great choice.

^^ true that, i'm still well off the pace but i've tried everything from my a600 spec 69 camaro to a lotus two-eleven, might try the camaro again with taller gearing, the 4 speed tops out at 220 and gets there halfway down the big straight, bounces off the limiter for the rest of it

r34 gtr. stripped, brakes, racing slicks & what ever minor engine mods u can squeeze on to keep under 601. does pretty fucking well

also on the controller, i built an a600 evo 8 mr for this challenge, and i still couldn't match my insanely oversteery 69 camaro times lol, got there with a gtr though.

I only just found out how to do this today. So if you go into the Community section, then search the leader boards for the race you want. Once you have found that select the persons time and you should get the option to race against their ghost.

Oh and if anyone would like to have a crack at this weeks challenge in the lotus I set my time in, I'm going to put it in the club garage shortly. Even though it will get my time beaten no doubt haha. My gamer tag is I GC8 WRX I

Congrats to EJ 20 WA for fastest lap. Barely! I spent my time trying to rank up my driver this week, playing with new cars. Wish I'd given this some more goes. Keen to go again?
