Iphone contacts Sync

Ok I need to clean up my contacts in my Iphone.
I went from an Android device to Iphone so I backed it up to Google contacts then to Itunes
Problem is it brought accross every contact, including email addys and all that shit, so now Im stuck with 10,000 contacts in the form of phone numbers and email addresses, is there a way I can edit my contacts so I can have only phone numbers.
Itunes makes a relatively easy task of syncing contacts fucking rocket surgery!

Setup sync using the google exchange server (instead of POP3/IMAP), then it will only sync contacts in 'My Contacts' and not 'All Contacts'
If that doesn't work try pushing all the useless contacts into the 'Other Contacts' group which I think gets excluded.

Might need to clear contacts on phone first, exchange setup details are in gmail help somewhere.

Basically setup Icloud on PC, backed up contacts to it, then to Outlook, edited the ones I didnt want then synced with Itunes
