Not sure if you guys are into it but i found a killa app last night.

Do a search for 5-0 radio HD.

You can listen live to police/swat/fire etc in the USA and around the world.
Click top 100 once you get the app . I was listening to "Chicago" last night and the usual stuff like offender on premisis , assults etc then all hell broke loose. Home invasion, 2 guys broke in duct tape and shot 2 people. Car chase and take down all live.

There's also the Scanner Buddy app, that streams other countries, including Australia. There's WA in there, but not the police channel.

not sure is srs.depending on his data allowance it can very well be serious.
streaming on the app listening to chatter will chew up data real quick when not on wifi.

All encrypted in WA. From what I hear, the encryption key changes frequently as well making it near on impossible to crack.

i remember listening to the WA scanner years ago before it went digital and you could pick it up on a scanner and i heard the cops say they were following a group of cars at speed down the Kwinanna freeway and they believed it to be an antilag club cruise.

Haha, that's epic. You can still listen to them in the country. Digital doesn't work up north apparently.

digital requires different attennas (sp?) to analogue, all the prisons have been setting up to switch to digital radio as well.
