Hey... just got back from up north and PC wont boot.
It was working fine when I left, everything normal.

Basically I press power button... it lights up, spins fans, etc then shuts off after a second or 2... then repeats this over and over on it's own.

Confused as nothing has been touched since i left. Power cord was pulled out the whole time i was away.

Googling now, but any ideas are appreciated.

Important bits are:

G1.Sniper 2 mobo
i7-2600k
G.Skill 1600Mhz ram (8gb)
2x GTX570 (evga)
Thortech thunderbolt 1200w

Kinda puzzled : / Wasn't overclocked when I left or any funky stuff either.

Check to see if CPU fan is working? Some mobos have failsafes to prevent CPU damage.
Can you get into BIOS at all?

Easiest way to diagnose is rip everything off the mobo and add them one by one, testing the boot.

EDIT: Start with just mobo and CPU, if that works, add RAM one stick at a time, with HDDs being last.

reset the bios. Look for a jumper to short or button to push on the mother board.

Could be faulty ram/psu etc.

No video at all? if so I'd say its the Bios, take the battery off the MB for a few hours reinstall battery then restart. In BIOS setup you will have to change the boot order so HDD is first.

Hmmm thanks for all the replies guys, shouldn't have wasted your time...

CMOS clearing sorted it out. Stumped as to why though as it was running stable perfectly before I went away for 2 weeks.

Very very odd, but i suppose that is what computers do :P

Thanks again.
