I think different. Its great in so many ways, but they have dumbed it down from 2k11 which is fucked. Should have left it all the same and just added, not changed completely.

Worst part about it all is trying to play zone defense, you call any zone, and a big fuck off blue circle appears on the court telling you where your supposed to stand. Cmon seriously, best part about it is you can't turn it off! YAY.

That is prob the worst thing. Controls are way easier / posting up Is way easier / presentation of the game feels like tv broadcast especially the older NBA legends.

Also my player is pretty sweet this time round bar the fact I got traded to Portland.

you are in the NBA already with your player mode? does it scrap all the college crap before and throws you straight into the NBA?

Yea you dont do college.

You do one game... then you get graded.

From there 4 teams come and each ask you 2 questions.

I got Utah \ Golden state \ 76ers \ Bobcats

Told em all to fuck off and ended up at portland.

Just completed my first year and now a starter for portland. Also ended up with chris bosh in my team somehow.

First season just played key games to get points to upgrade.

Give it a shot and test it out. I find it miles better then 2K11.

What legends have you completed so far ?

I have done Jordan / Magic / Erving / Malone / Pippen. Every game has been 5 or less and i should of completed the Patrick Ewing match as well but they managed to put in some bull shit fluke 3 pointer on buzzer to win.

Also keep trying to trade my player out and keep getting interest by Golden State or New York ( cpu traded melo to Orlando and Stoudemire went to new jersey )

Ridiculous amount of trades in myplayer mode. Got drafted by the Suns, thought that would be cool getting fed by Steve Nash.....then they trade him after the 2nd game. Fml.
