Hey all,

I have a quote to get this done by 1 mob already, Price is around $400 at MTQ.

Just wondering if anywhere else in perth can machine in some anti surge slots for a cheaper price into my GT35 comp cover?

Never realised this until i got onto a track but I noticed that while i was trying to control the throttle around a few bends at barbs i was getting abit of compressor surge due to the turbo pushing out more air than what my engine wants to digest at a particular RPM.

Its not a problem while im on the street as its either baby the car or full throttle but I was thinking that some surge slots would take care of the issue if I want to prolong the life of the turbo on the track.

Cheers

Considering it's a $65 option from suppliers such as ATP Turbo in the US, I'd be telling that $400 mob to fuck right off.

^ Could always buy a new housing w/ the anti-surge machining, and sell off your current housing.

Wow that is cheap, I rather get it done to my current comp cover though as i have a 90deg bend welded onto it which owes me 60 bucks and a carton of beer :P

I wouldn't mind a polish up too tbh..
