Howdy all
Anyone here have access to old tyres or know someone that works at tyre stores that has access to some, from tractors and maybe small trucks?
Need one large/medium one for a home gym.
If possible, large one to be around 200-250kg or so.
Rather not pay a cent, so they could be punctured or just worn out
Cheers

200kg tyre?
youd probably need to go out to like, Kelmscott tyre places or something or Armadale... where people have tractors / farms n stuff. ... nothing but A/T 4WD tyres around me in the throwout piles..

Like John just said Ag tyres arent easy to come by try Byford tyres or Tyrepower Kelmscott
Try some of the bigger work sites around Perth sometimes they have old casings lying around

You could try http://www.tyrerecyclerswa.com.au/ or http://www.tyrecycle.com.au/ (pretty sure theyre part of sims group)
National tyres in kewdale sell industrial/agricultural tyres, also might be able to help.

Tyre flips? The guys down the road from my work have a few large ones they flip up & down the car park. Next time I see them I can ask where they got them from.

I'll ask them when I see them out there next.
Might also be worth giving these guys a call. They could have something sitting around.

Yeah I do agree with you, but if they are missing chunks of rubber its cool, but nothing excessive where I will rip my hands/arms/legs apart.
Cheers again guys
