I don't think people realise how soon this is :)
The last one was great fun.
Should be plenty of rubber embedded in the track if the powercruise videos are anything to go by :P

_oz - prorace (wangara) have all that stuff, as well go-gear (osb park) and revolution race gear (also osb park)

Factory tow points are fine.
You can get tagged extinguishers from Go Gear, Revo, Searle for < $50. You can grab battery triangles from them too (I think I have a few spare in my racing junk box if anyone gets stuck on the night).

Any idea when the entry shutoff will be by?

Brockas
03-10-2011, 10:48 PM
I don't think people realise how soon this is :)
Possibly!

Spread the word, because we need at least 30 entrants. Last time we had 40 entrants and 300+ spectators, everyone had a ball and asked for another one!

I'm sure it'll probably fill out soon enough, but get your mates to get onto it ASAP so we can start organising everything else and not have to worry about entrants!

Any idea when the entry shutoff will be by?
When it fills.

If it doesn't fill out we will be able to take entrants on the night.

FYI,
This is one of the last chances you'll get to drive on the circuit until March 2012.
They're closing it very soon for work.

There is a track battle and adgp booked there for the 18/19 of November... When is it meant to be closing?

Early December.. I was just saying that there are only a few events between now and then.

List updated!

So far it looks like everyone is going to get LOTS of track time.

You can enter on the night as well, but obviously we would prefer pre-entry as entering on the night will reduce your track time slightly.

Very nice times! I remember being on par with the 32 in terms of power down the straight but i highly doubt i could pull off an awesome time like that, it must be setup really when suspension and braking wise!

his braking is sooo good that
for once instance last year, i tried follow his braking point with my old evo ended up beaching my self for a good 30 min before i was out ..
this is on the on Fast brake corner (the back straight heading to main straight )

it was that bad that whole car was resting on the sand.. and even the sump was burried under the sand.. LOL..

Chris is always happy to give advice if you ask, Oz. His car has some great suspension gear in it, but it's got a lot to do with the driver. I picked up almost a full second just by taking his advice about the hairpin on the short track. Next time he's out have a chat and I bet you he'll help you drop a couple of seconds!

I sorted through a couple of clips i got from that night. It's good to see your car from the outside sometimes, gives you better perspective on what lines and etc you're taking. I can't wait to get back out there.

No worries!

Do you run a bucket seat and harness? It made a massive difference to my driving when I installed one. Keeps you from falling onto your doors and more focused on your driving.

Tough lil cars by the looks of it. Hopefully when you get some new tyres you'll crack your PB.

Awesome stuff Pav!!

Thanks dog.

I did have some but it didn't turn out too good. I try and get a bit of everyone but the focus is difficult at night time with all the lights and headlamps. I'll get ya next time :)
