I had threats txt to my mobile last night. Person was saying he will cave my head in etc
I havnt pissed anyone off or started trouble for many years.
I text back my adress and to meet me at mine 30min later and sort it out or asked there adress and i will head strait over no probs. I was keen as for punch ons.
Kept getting more abuse. I tryed to ring them but they wouldnt answer.
Total pussy's. I got a txt back saying it was some guy in bendigo. Sounds like it he may have my number by mistake but i want to make sure. Anyone know how i can get an adress from a mobile?

Turn off own number sending, let the shitstorm calm down a bit then ring the number and see if they answer.

The above only works if the person is listed in the white pages. ^^^ As I'm not listed in the white pages, (I entered my number) I don't show up with any records.

Simply answer, No. Doing so is a breach of the privacy act, and therefore is illegal- Unless their name and address is in the white pages. se above for reference.

If you've already tried asking who this is, as you think they have the wrong number hasn't done anything, then there are 3 options.
1. Ring your service provider and ask that xxxx-xxx-xxx number be blocked from contacting you (a small fee can occur)
2. Change your mobile number.
3. Take a trip to your local police station and file a complaint.

I've had threats via txt message before, and called my mobile company ASAP to have the number blocked.

Yes, people who have access to the states real estate database (Agents, valuers ets) can. Have to be licenced though.
