By car for 10K, buy a low km 26 cut if required...still a cheap car!

checked the rego expiry and comes up "We are unable to provide the vehicle registration expiry date at this time. Please fill in the form below and a response will be provided within 2 working days. All fields are mandatory except Organisation name. " where as my rego comes back with expiry date instantly. somethings suss. unless has just changed it back to state plates.

I emailed him few days back asking if he had any idea what might be wrong with it.
He responded with "not sure mate, engine fault somewhere i reckon. drove it on Monday and was fine"

10K is a little too much for a 33 with an unknown rb26 fault I reckon. Alright if you are looking for a gtr to build from the ground up though

Spotted this whilst browsing Carsales for my partner's new car...was very very tempted, but also thought it was a beat steep for such uncertainty, especially considering we were looking for a daily haha.

It could go either way really, could be someone with silly cheap problem thinking its bigger than it really is OR worst case scenario motor has shat. Slap in another low K. Its still going to be cheaper, however its where if there is a problem with the box as well could fuck you right over..

Sure might be a bit of work but if everything was good on it and was a perfect car it would be for sale for the normal market value.

LOL @ 2JZ comment.

$10k is not cheap for any non-running stock GT-R, regardless of model.

The simple fact is these cars are not cheap cars to fix, and if you are buying a non-runner my guess would be that there will be a host of problems to come.

You're better off spending double that, and getting a nice clean example or one with bulk mods which has already had the problem areas replaced. It'll end up cheaper for you in the long run...

Wasn't have any luck with my search terms, expanded it to all makes and models haha. Went from the prospect of a GTR to an '09 Getz.
